Ingredients
Dough
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1½ cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2½ cups flour
- 1½ teaspoons cream of tartar
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
Cinnamon-Sugar
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1½ tablespoons cinnamon
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add in eggs and vanilla and cream mixture until combined
- Mix in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt until just combined
- Refrigerate dough for 20 minutes
- Preheat the oven to 350° and line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper
- Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 heaping tablespoon each
- Coat the balls in the cinnamon-sugar mixture and place on the baking sheets, lightly pressing down in the middle of each
- Bake for 10 minutes
